Patison Finished on Podium at I-10 Speedway

Jason Patison and team traveled to Blythe California on April 19th, for round 3 of the Lucas Oil Modified Series. Patison's STR Chevrolet was fast right off the trailer but was hit with some very uncommon mechanical failures during the weekend.

Patison Qualifies 1st, Finishes 2nd, Moves to 3rd in Points

In what turned out to be a busy night for the tow truck, round 7 of the Lucas Oil Modified Series was not short on excitement. After qualifying on the pole, Patison pulled an 8 for the invert, lining his number 80 machine up on the outside fourth row for the 100 lap main event.  Patison worked his way up to 4th in the first half of the race and from then on it become more about survival then speed.  The race saw nearly a dozen cautions and 2 red flags, resulting in only 14 of the 22 entrants finishing the event.

Patison Returns to Lucas Oil Modifieds Winner’s Circle at Irwindale

Jason Patison, the first Lucas Oil Modified Series champion, made his return to victory circle Saturday night with a dominant performance in the LoanMart Hot August 75 presented by Aero Racing Wheels at the Irwindale Event Center.

Patison’s string of strong finishes continued on July 20th in the Lucas Oil Modified Series. It was Patison’s first trip to the progressive banked 3/8 mile oval but luckily his veteran crew chief Steve Teets had plenty of notes from previous events with other drivers.
